I am from Texas. My fiancee left me, there was no cheating and i didn't tell her to " get out ". We agreed that there wasn't enough love shown to each other. I have never been married, she has been 3 times. Also, prior to her leaving she spent three months hooked on an antidepressant she acquired over the internet which made her " just not care ". Am i entitled to the ring?

My Ex Fianance broke up the enagement and cancelled all the wedding plans, but doesn't want to give back the Engagement ring. She has been engaged 2 times before, but has always returned the ring back to the man, but in this case she believe that the ring is a gift and she needs it to selliit, so she can afford to live. I am not sure how i can get my ring back after asking her serveral times?

She even asked me to notarize a letter so she can sell the ring , so she can pay her bills for serveral month . so my question would be if she stated that she needs a notarized letter, then how is the ring still consider a gift in her mind ?

The ring must be returned based on the facts provided. If you sign the letter, she may claim that if was an unconditinoal gift.

I live in PA and got engaged in DE in Jan. My ex-fiance broke up with me 4 weeks later and didn't give me a reason. He is requesting the ring as well as all cash money and other gifts that he gave me while we were dating saying now that any cash he give me was a loan. I learned that DE is an "Unconditional Gift" state, would this cover all items that were received during the courtship? Does it matter what things I received after we were engaged as well as before? I thought if someone gave you a gift whether money or items then they were yours to keep, is this true or false? He stated yesterday through his daughter that if I don't return everything then he is going to sue me in court.

Thanks,
Linda
